Dance Party

My boys have always LOVED to dance. They dance in the car, outside, and in the living room!

We caught Evan's smile on camera!!! He is starting to coo and react more to family. Evan definitely completes our family.

Evan is 1 month old!!

Evan is 1 month old today! He celebrated with an early morning bottle, tummy time, and sleeping through the Bengals game. Brooks gave him a quick kiss as he ran by!

Under the weather

We have been fighting off colds all week. The big boys have spent their time playing racing games and Evan has spent his time snuggling!!!

Evan's many faces

Evan has started becoming more aware and spending more time awake. Last night Justin caught some of the many different faces that Evan does! We can't believe that he is already 3 weeks old tomorrow!!!

Future Fireman?

How cute is this guy? I am enjoying my time being home with Evan. I can't seem to get enough of him, sleeping or awake I am completely in love!!!!!

Big Trees

We had 2 HUGE trees taken down today. It was amazing to watch as 1 person climbed up the tree to cut down branches, while another worker pulled the branches down with rope. Nico and Brooks thought it was cool too!!!

Brotherly Love

Brooks is slowly adjusting to being the middle child. When he is not destroying something in the house, he LOVES laying next to "my baby"!

I LOVE being a mom to 3 boys! It is a busy time, but we are all adjusting. The boys can't get enough of "their" baby! They fight over who gets to hold him and are both very protective. I hope this relationship continues to grow.

New Digs!

Since Evan is the third boy, he will have to wear a lot of hand me downs. But, my good friend Katie bought him a SUPER CUTE outfit with a matching blanket that he has been wearing all day! He loves getting new clothes:) Thank you Katie!

Evan Lewis Gholz

Evan was born on September 18th at 8:38 Am. He is our biggest baby weighing in at 7 pound 8 ounces and 20 inches long! The boys are so HAPPY to have their "baby" home with them. We are so happy to have him with us too!

Goodbye :(

After a very busy weekend, Corey, Robyn, and Ethan just left for the airport. We tried to get a few family pictures with all the grand babies before they left. It is hard to get 3 boys to sit still!

Baby Bowling

We got the slip and slide out yesterday. Corey and Justin wanted to help the boys learn to slide, so they picked them up and threw down the slide! The boys had soooo much fun sliding through the water.

TRAINS

Corey, Robyn, and Ethan arrived on Friday! We have spend the weekend eating good meals, lots of yummy brownies, and playing! Saturday we took all 3 boys and adults to Entertrainment Junction. Ethan loves trains as much as my boys! The adults had fun too!

Congratulations Diana and Jon!

Our good friends from high school, Diana and Jon, got married this weekend. It was a beautiful wedding and she was a gorgeous bride! We still keep in touch with a lot of friends from high school, so gatherings like a wedding are always so much fun. Baby Evan made a few pictures too :) Best wishes to the happy couple!

Park

We spent the morning at Sharon Woods today. The boys LOVE the playground and the water there. It was hot and I was MISERABLE, but the boys had a blast!!!!

Slip and Slide!

My mom got the boys a slip and slide! I got it out today and it was a BIG HIT, even the neighbor girls came over. Nico can't slide yet, but they had fun running through the water.

Home Sweet Loveland

We tried to go to Blooms and Berries, a local farm in Loveland, to pick berries and it was closed. So we stayed in our hometown and ate at the The Works a local favorite, walked around the Loveland Bike Trail (recalling memories from high school), and finally ending our day with shaved ice!!!! Laura came with us and kept saying she didn't need to hear all our memories :) It was a great morning and a lot of fun!!!

The Melting Pot

Justin and I had a date tonight! We went to The Melting Pot, my FAVORITE restaurant!!!!

SWIMMING!

Nico has spent a lot of time with my dad this summer getting comfortable with the water and learning new things. A month ago he wouldn't even get in the water for his swim lessons. Today we hit the pool again and my little fish was diving in!!!! Brooks loves the water too!!

My ball went in the water a few times :)) Nico was nice enough to get it for me since I can't bend down!

Proud Papa!

After dinner we hit the links and had some ice cream! We could not get Brooks to stay with us, he was all over the course. Luckily no one was behind us and he was able to be himself!!! Both boys have a better swing than I do....I kept telling Justin without my big belly I would have beat him :)

Party!

Tonight we went to a birthday party at Run Jump and Play. It was a lot of fun, all 3 boys (Justin included) had a blast! Nico really enjoyed seeing his buddies from school. Thank you Ben!

New Bike!

Today we bought Nico his first bike! He was so excited to pick it out at the store, it is a Lightening McQueen bike! I was trying to remember how I learned to ride a bike, no training wheels and no brakes. Justin and Mary spent the afternoon running up and down the driveway with him, he should be up and riding in no time!!!!

Belly

I have been asked to post a picture of my growing belly! Here I am 28 weeks pregnant, the baby was kicking during this photo shoot! He moves a lot.

Ride the Ducks!

Yesterday we piled in the car and went down to Newport for the Ride the Ducks expedition. It was so much fun!!! They hand out duck whistles to everyone and take you on a land and water tour of downtown Cincinnati. You are supposed to blow your duck whistle when you pass someone on the streets. Everyone had a blast!

The Ride The Ducks amphibious vehicle is based on the famous WWII DUKW amphibious design.

Mary and Cam are home!!!

Mary and Cam arrived Monday night and are here for 2 weeks! We are all so excited. The boys are all over them from waking them up in the morning to bed time. Nico has already asked them to take him to see the new Ice Age Movie!
